Located at 537 Park Ave, we’ve been thriving in Hoboken since 2003! Currently run by new management, Mr. Alex and Miss Samantha will love and care for your children as if they were their very own. We do what we do here because we truly love our children, and we want to give them the best early experiences possible! We strive to create a creative, diverse (yet consistent), entertaining, beneficial, and educational experience for your child. We believe they deserve it!
We’ve hosted hundreds of caregiver-and-me classes, countless birthday parties, and our very own Preschool Alternative program for toddlers and preschoolers! Start off your Romparoo experience as young as 6 months old in our Caregiver-and-Me classes- every family gets a free trial class! When your child is ready, they can bridge the gap between home and school in our 2 hour drop off program for toddlers (18 months-30 months), and take a “Big Step Up” by adding a 3rd hour of preschool enrichment lessons when they turn 2-2.5 years!
Mr. Alex loves children so much that he wants to have 19 children of his very own! Miss Samantha has wanted to be a teacher her entire life. When she was young, she said she wanted to adopt every orphan in the world! Miss Samantha first started working with children as a teenager. Miss Samantha was a homework tutor, violin teacher, and babysitter for elementary school aged children. She was a volunteer for the library, reading to children for Read Across America and preparing lesson plans involving story time, as well as arts and crafts. Miss Samantha then worked as a camp counselor at JCC Camps in Medford, NJ, creating activities from children everywhere from 3 to 13 years old, and working with developmentally disabled children through JCC Camp’s Open Hearts, Open Doors program. She then worked at Play N Trade in Marlton, NJ, where she ran children’s birthday parties and video game tournament events. During her time at The College of New Jersey as an Early Childhood Education major, Miss Samantha worked at the CYO Preschool located in Ewing, NJ that was right next door and found her love for preschoolers! Miss Samantha also spent 3 years helping her mother start and run her own business, while volunteering at Community Rocks!, a mixed aged music camp in Camden, NJ and working several part time jobs. After moving to the Hoboken area and taking on several babysitting, nannying, and teaching jobs, Miss Samantha finally found Romparoo, and she’s been happily there ever since! In her spare time, Miss Samantha writes poetry, music, and short stories. She also paints, draws, and plays the violin! Miss Samantha is multi-lingual; she knows English and Korean, as well as some Spanish and American Sign Language!
