| Q: |
So what is the difference between a Bust A Move (18-24 month old) and a Can’t Stop Me Now (2-3 years old) class, for example? |
| A: |
I'm glad you asked! The toy accessories used in class are age-appropriate for the specific ages of each particular class. So basically the age level of the toys and the ages of the children in the classes change from class to class, but the basic structure remains the same. |

| Q: |
I have never been to Romparoo before, can I come check it out? |
| A: |
Of course! What we would encourage you to do is come and take a complimentary mommy-and-me class if you have never been to Romparoo before. Please note that classes are complimentary your first time only and do not apply to On My Own classes! |
| |
|
| Q: |
How big are the classes? |
| A: |
A full mommy-and-me class is a maximum of 15 children. A full "On My Own" class is 10 children with 2 (but usually 3) instructors. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Oh no! All of your On My Own classes are full! How can I get my child in
for next session? |
| A: |
The children that are currently enrolled in On My Own have the option of renewing their space for the next session, but if they don't then we start giving the remaining spaces to children our waiting list. We keep a waiting list for the current session and the next upcoming session, but no further in advance. To put your child on the waiting list please call and talk to Devon! |

| Q: |
I am starting my child in On My Own but I have never left my son/daughter with anyone before...help! |
| A: |
Not to worry, this is the case for many of our On My Owners! We are very used to this situation! It is likely that your child will cry a bit the first time, or couple of times, but our goal is to make your child feel as comfortable as possible and get used to getting dropped off at Romparoo. We have had extreme success with this class and you'll be amazed how quickly your child will take to running right into the classroom! Please call or stop in to talk to Devon if you have ANY concerns about this! We know that it can be just as hard for the mommies to drop off their child for the first time as it can be for the child to be dropped off! |
| |
|
| Q: |
What should I send with my child for a drop-off class? |
| A: |
Please leave us your diaper bag with a diaper, juice cup, and if your child has some sort of comfort toy/blanket/book/pacifier, etc, please feel free to pack that as well! |
| |
|
| Q: |
What is your cleaning policy? |
| A: |
I am so glad you asked, keeping our facility clean is a huge concern to us too! For starters, we try to keep the playroom as clean as possible by not allowing food or shoes (that means you too, grown-ups!) in the playroom. All surfaces and toys used are wiped down at the end of each day. Any toy that goes in a child's mouth is washed immediately following that particular class. In the Rock N'Roll (6-12 month) and Shake It Up (12-18 month) classes, we assume that every toy has gone into a mouth and wash everything used. We vacuum the floors in the waiting room and playroom every day and have the floors professionally cleaned once a month. We understand that germs get around very easily and we want to keep you, your child, and our facility as healthy as possible! |
| |
|
| Q: |
My child is sick/we are on vacation, can I make up the class we missed? |
| A: |
Please do! You get 2 make-up classes per 8-week session and 3 make-up classes per 16-week session. If you know you are going to miss a class then please let us know about your absence before the class that you are going to miss! Please schedule your make-up class with us and remember that make-up classes do not carry over to a new semester! All make-ups must be done by the end of the current session! |
| |
|
| q: |
When should I not send my child to Romparoo due to illness? |
| A: |
Well, we ask you to use your best discretion on this one. We understand that running noses etc. can come along because of allergies, teething, or many other non-contagious reasons. However if your child has a fever, discolored mucus, or any other signs of an infection please do not send them to class! We offer make-ups so that you don't feel obligated to show up if your child is under the weather. If your child is contagious we would much rather you keep them home so that they can get well and we can keep Romparoo and the others who attend as germ-free as possible! |
| |
|
| Q: |
How far in advance should I book my child's birthday party? |
| A: |
To play it safe you should book at least one month in advance. Some times of year are busier than others so your best bet would be to call and check the date that you'd like to book as soon as you pinpoint a specific date! |
| |
|
| Q: |
Do you have parking? |
| A: |
Sorry, we don't! You can generally find street parking within a block or two of Romparoo during the day when classes are held.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are not a Hoboken resident and therefore don't have a parking sticker, then you can only park on a side of the street that allows visitor parking. It is marked by a white sign with green letters that will say Resident Parking, All Others 4 Hours. You can stay in that space for up to 4 days but please don't take the chance of parking on the opposite side of the which is Residents Only parking (a green sign)! |
